Elizabeth (Beth)'s Story
One of the things my classmates would find different about what I am doing today at my age is musical theatre. Every summer I live somewhere other than home and get paid as a professional performer in musicals on stage and have performed on stage with my youngest. Our youngest daughter, who now lives in NYC has been performing in live theatre most of her life and she is now 31.   She's the one who encouraged me to "go for it"!  I have lived in Waynesville 22 years. Our oldest daughter and her husband and our only grand-daughter lived in WPB. This daughter graduated from FHHS in 1989. & her husband & daughter moved to GA last August and now have a little boy born last month. I moved my parents up to NC near us in 1997. My dad has now passed away in Feb., 2009 at the age of 92, and my mom passed away in 2005. I am now caregiver to my husband who has a rare form of terminal cancer from being exposed to radiation in the military . We have actually been keeping him alive with alternative treatment since there is no cure or treatment for this form of cancer. But, we give God all the glory for healing him out of every crisis. He is only alive because of the grace of God! PTL!!
